I agree with your concern - the way he has those oriented, one will have the pickup tube aiming 'uphill' and not toward the rear tank baffle. There will be a significant reduction in usable fuel in that tank. HE can rotate one of the tubes, but will need to be so the pickup ends are close to the rea...

And on your foot - if you are unable to bear weight or at least it hurts like hell, better get that checked out and xrayed to rule out a fracture. The bones in particular from the mid foot to the base of the toes are prone to fractures when jumping on canopy parts  . Hope it is not... .

Spike - I have looked into this matter in detail. My config will be about like Bret - an IO-360, single or dual P-mags, SJ cowl, Catto 3 blade made for optimal cruise. After discussing with various folks who have done this, they are seeing the same thing in performance. Cruise about or a little abov...

Mike, Could you log in using firefox at one point or never since install? What is your operating system? Vista or XP or other? If it has happened from the start since installation of firefox, try unistalling (go to C:Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/Unistall and click on unistall program. Or use your O...

That's exactly what my medical has on it as I have the same near vision issue. There was no issue doing my eye test with them. I can still read an av chart holding it out, but I must carry a pair of reading glasses (I have a sunglass version too) for when I fly. And certainly want them on me in case...

With that orange thing in your hand, I sure hope the patients were NOT expecting a proctologist.

Thanks, Mike. Not to hijack this thread, but could you also give me the settings and tip size you used to give me a start? I went ahead and called them and they are sending a color chart.

Mike - can you tell me a bit about the Jetflex? I am debating spraying something like that for my interior (also primed in places with Napa 7220) vs using rattle cans for ease of use. I sort of want to spray to learn it as I have never done it (have a Porter Cable PSH1 HVLP sprayer). Easy to use? Go...

Yeah, the camping option burned me out a bit at Sleepy Hollow with heat/humidity/mosquitoes last year. Their advertised 'wooded' tent area was just an open field rimmed with trees that offered no shade. Other years I've tried Scholler, Circle R (2 mi south - best camp ground with tree area in back f...

Re: Finish Kit!

OK, thanks. That would be BAXGlobal. Favor - do you have the finish kit box size and weight handy? I'll leave out the cowl (going with SJ), so I don't know if they use a smaller box or not. Oops! I meant BAX Carl. They are another shipper Van's uses. Who is BEX? I'll be ordering my finish kit soon. ...
