Hmmm... I thought I posted this question earlier and now I can't find it. Never got a response from Van's on it.

DWG 46A calls out a 1" hole in the firewall for access to the nose gear bolt and refers to DWG 19 for specifics. DWG 19, however, calls for a 3/4" hole.

Has anyone ever gotten the OFFICIAL word from Van's on which of the two is the correct instruction?

i have enlarged mine to 1 inch..if i was doing it again i would move the center location up a touch. maybe an 1/8. the bolt goes in a such a steep angle that mine caught the top going in. YMMV
