As the somewhat-blurry picture shows, I completed cutting my panel this afternoon! The whole thing was a stressful ordeal, trying to get everything lined up perfectly. In the end, all my cuts came out within 1/64" of where they were supposed to. Total time to measure and cut was between 50 and 60 hours. Just something for you do-it-yourselfers to consider. I think if I laid the panel out in CAD and had it professionally watercut it would of saved a lot of time.
The only holes I am missing are for annunicator lights (still deciding) and the ELT remote mount (ACK hasn't released their 406 ELT yet). _________________ Mike Bullock

Miike, I'm not far from this point. I'm trying to figure out where you relocated the left panel support rib because I don't see the holes for the screws. Did you move it left of it's normal location? _________________ Bob Collins

Hey Bob-
I ended up moving the left support rib to the left side of the left GRT EFIS, sharing the #6 holes mounting hole. Here is a pic:
I needed to make the rib shorter so the Airspeed Indicator would fit under it. _________________ Mike Bullock

Very nice Mike. Anything but small round holes take a lot of time to do a good job like you have. _________________ Don Sinclair

It's looking good Mike! Did you do the initial penetrations using that pretty new .45 ACP?
