RV-7 Tail & Wings...Potentially for Sale =(

I have completed the tail and wings. I now live in Southern California, and the apartment lifestyle has made it difficult to continue building. Hanger spaces are super expensive! So due to the circumstances, I am considering selling my project. I am asking $10,000. I have tools that can be sold sepa...

I currently live in Glendale, CA. My wife & I will be moving to Irvine, CA. I would like to continue my RV-7 contruction. Since we will be living in an apartment; and I am in desparate need of garage space or hanger space. Is there any RV-7 builders in the Irvine area? Does John Wayne Airport (gener...

Captain John

Thanks for the information. I am not really in need of any loans (except maybe some fuel money), HAHA.

Good Luck on your project.

WIRE HARNESS 6/7/9 ES WH 6/7/9 KIT Originally I purchased this kit; with anticipation of using it this last year. However, my project has been delayed. RV-7A Instrument Panel

So I am sure that everyone has been at this point...how do I layout the instrument panel. I want to keep this simple & hopefully build it for about $8,000.00. I have some ideas with my layout, but I don't have a lot of knowledge about manufacturers and where to go. I just know the basic VFR instrume...

Trailing edges do not match

I have fitted the right wing tip; and I am almost ready to drill; however, the trailing edge of the fiberglass tip sticks out past the trailing edge of the aileron by 1/4" or so. Did anybody else have this problem? This is not going to be a blue ribbon airplane by no stretch of the imagination; howe...

Wing Tip Installation

The wings are complete, with the exception of the fiberglass tips. I have opted to make the fiberglass tips removable. I know Van's encourages you to wait till the end of the project to attach the tips; however, I do not have the fuselage yet and would love to get this work done. I was planning on g...

It worked. Gosh, that was easier than I was expecting.

Thanks guys!

Now onto a few more rivets on the bottom skins of the right wing; and then attach aileron and flap. BINGO!

RV-7 Flap Installation

I need some help. I can't even wrap my head around the process of installing the flap. I am trying to figure out how to ensure the trailing edges of the flaps and ailerons match and clamp it all down, so I can drill the holes in the hinge. I would appreciate it, if someone would walk me through the ...
