I just recently bought a beautiful flying -8 from Jeff Tompkins of Grants Pass. This is our first airplane ownership experience, and my wife and I have finally agreed on a name for it. We've decided to call it "The Money Pit" !!

Thanks for the reply fellas. That makes sense to me about the bend getting the stick back out from below the panel.

I am planning on replacing the stick grip that is currently in the front seat with an Infinity grip. Do I need to replace the whole stick? I have seen one advertised in the VAF forum that is already mounted on a stick with an "S" curve. Is this necessary? I have no opinion about the curve, one way o...

Just joined this site. Am a new owner of a beautiful -8 built by Jeff Tompkins of Grants Pass, OR. I just installed one of these: http://www.vansairforce.com/community/s ... php?t=7745 and it works like a champ!! I installed it on the right hand side though. Took about 1 hour and 2 beers.
