Chad, what if I just left them long and trimmed the flange to fit into the end of the elevator?
I would avoid having to fiberglass the joint when it split. How did you reconnect the ends when they split?

Is that an option?

Hello everyone, I was test fitting my elevator tips today, and they appear to be about 1/4" too long. Is this normal. See pic below. Well, I couldn't find my Dremel cutoff wheel so I used my bandsaw. Worked great.

I can't find in the instructions when to install the Rudder Rod End Bearings. I finished the rudder last night, and realized I must of missed a step. Do I put them on later?

While dimpling the rudder skin using my c-frame bench tool, and the skin slipped and I ended up dimpling where no dimple is supposed to be. Pic attached. The die even put a whole in the skin.
