Glad everything worked out well . I would say you were in the right place at the right time, an extra set of eyes and ears in an emergency is invaluable.

I am happy to say that I am in the home stretch of getting my PPL. I had my solo at the end of June, and today I had my first cross country flight. The flight was to KBMI in Bloomington Il. I think cj is correct, I don't see things getting better real quick but just have to make the best of the situation. I was looking through the latest Sport Aviation , and there was a guy from Germany that wrote in and they are paying the equivalent of $14 per gallon. :o

Thanks, I have a lot to learn but I am enjoying it already. I am going up two days a week and my instructor said that I should be done some time around august ( weather permitting) . :)
