Re: a couple printed widgets

Forward spar cover cup holder... positioned between the legs. Getting closer to hitting the print button on this one. I've thoroughly enjoyed working on this design project, though I'm unsure how well it will perform. It's designed to be robust and fully serviceable, attaching with either 3M Dual Lo...

DeltaHawk Engines

We might need a new category for this engine. 2026 could be the year DeltaHawk breaks into the mainstream. It looks like they're targeting the C172 and 182 market. An engine with fewer parts, minimal accessories, and that runs on JetA is definitely a step in the right direction. DeltaHawk - 2025 SUN...

Re: a couple printed widgets

first time to print a Comant antenna fairing is black color. they have always previously been white. it's always nice to do something new even though it is just a color change. 3D printing is boring unless you are making something new. https://i.postimg.cc/gkKnXQ7y/IMG20250630132855.jpg https://i.po...

RV7A - ASN Report - N783RV well, something about engine issues... hey, be nice to your engine and keep it maintained properly. https://asn.flightsafety.org/wikibase/522951 The aircraft experienced engine issues and crashed in a field. Ohio 2025 spring weather - cooler and wetter

The spring of 2025 in Ohio felt cooler and wetter compared to previous years, and the data supports that impression. I'm not complaining, though—the crops look amazing. The corn stalks are growing a foot or more a week, and I am not kidding. https://i.postimg.cc/T1Bdqjqt/county-precip-05-25-0.png ht...

Re: Zizzo Liberte - folding bike

A couple of new helmet pads made a huge difference today. A relaxed 30-mile ride felt effortless, just what I needed to get my body moving. The weather added some excitement on both the outbound and return trips. I’m starting to realize how many incredible homemade desserts the Yellow Springs commun...

RV10 - ASN Report - N847CS

RV10 - ASN Report - N847CS well, 22 minutes after takeoff it was all over. RIP aviation is a harsh task master... you build the aircraft, paint it nicely, maintain it, and then it kills you. sometimes I wonder why we do this. I suppose the Wright Brothers wondered about this as well at times, even m...

forward spar cover cup holder... between the legs. I need to think about the dust cover latch attachment further on this Sunday morning. feet will be passing over this latch, so the mechanism needs a dust cover. I am still not sure how well this will work. I'll press the print button next week to ma...

RivetBangers hats

I was looking at some simple hats for Rivet Bangers. I really like the breathable running hat as it is lightweight and stays cool. A small logo in the front, but not much, very subtle. Perhaps someone else can do better artwork than me. https://i.postimg.cc/V6yxhJ8t/Capture.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/...

Can cycling make you a better pilot - yes!

Basic stick-and-rudder skills, like those used in cycling, can translate to flying. Plus, the view from the back is not too bad sometimes... :) Similarities Control and Balance: Both involve maintaining equilibrium and making adjustments to stay on course. Muscle Memory: Basic control inputs, like t...

Re: Zizzo Liberte - folding bike

One thing I have noticed about Tadej Pogačar is that when viewing from the side, he seems to be breathing all the way to his stomach. the sustained power output from this guy is incredible. pedal torque x cadence = power. Re: Fasting - something new for me

I reached my weight goal of 165, and now it’s below that, heading towards 158 lbs. (6 ft). I’m working on finding the optimum weight for maximum energy. Why not run your body at its best, like a fine-tuned machine? A lighter weight feels great in this hot weather. One-meal-a-day (OMAD) is a powerful...

Re: Zizzo Liberte - folding bike

I purchased another set of these removable road bike style clipless pedals because they are so good. they are great for a folding bike when you wish to cover large distances in the heat.

Warning.... do not purchase from these guys because they just copy my website product descriptions, multiply the price 3X, and send me the order to ship to you and pocket the difference. this is a rip-off attempt. they don't make anything. buy directly from the source for 1/3 the price. https://i.p...

Re: a couple printed widgets

a busy printing week.... when you have a tight space at the baffle for spark plug leads, consider the mini wire seals. the Bearhawk guys like them. it must be getting close to Oshkosh because the gust lock printing is way up. the weather can become extremely exciting up that way when aircraft are ga...

more of these wire seals.... the 30-degree option is gaining some traction. it must be the smoother wire flow. the tightest wire seals you can find. crank up the heat as these are capable! https://i.postimg.cc/bY3LTBZt/IMG20250625104238.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/HsrRRy83/IMG20250625104312.jpg
