So you pulled the pistons huh. Did you put them back right side up? That's one thing I'm certain of! We talked about how the rings are to be positioned, how the piston goes in, etc...Done right! 8) Not trying to be rude to you. I was being very careful when I assembled my engine to make sure...

From what I read she wasn't driving, she was flying and I also read she punched a cop. Now how do you feel about it?

I used a variety of different diameter wooden dowel. Cheap and does the job. I used a 3/16" steel rod to align the hinges.

Is it true that RG58 and RG400 are the same diameter? It seems that information I'm finding about Coax crimps is that they use the same die size.

Your coming along so fast, you'll be in the air long before the rest of us. Well at least me probably. I discovered that I made a bunch of metal chips not long after reaching the point you're at. Not really a problem but they all were inside the fuselage and had it been painted they may have crapped...

It's in your documents and settings folder and is a folder called favorites. You can copy it to a thumb drive or other device and put it in the same place on your new computer.

It would be a great idea. I think Vans might tell you it's too much of a structural piece to be popping holes in though. Let us know what they say.

I just spent a good portion of time noodling this question also. I've read lots of posts about the subject of ELT placement. This subject is long and probably has a wider scope of opinion than than the “To prime or not to prime subjectâ€￾. Surprisingly it's a real can of worms. In the end I decided to mount the antenna in the reinforcing doubler behind the rear canopy window, mines a tip up, just left of center. Pretty much I went with the manual that came with the ELT for installation. One of the more interesting parameters laid out in the manual was not to cross any seams, I took that to mean vertical seams, between the transmitter and the antenna. Mounting the antenna outside flippen around in the wind was about the last thing I wanted to do but in the end it became the most convenient location and possibly least least objectionable (to a DAR) location and once you get used to it, it doesn't look half bad.

I was just reading about this very thing (switches) and P mags this morning in the Nuckolls manual (read it cover to cover). It's text is in the last couple pages of the Z section right before the schematics. I didn't pay much attention to it since I'm not a P mag guy.

I'm going to ask why the keep alive buss? I'm not familiar with the Enigma and it's keep alive function. Keeping a clock running would be the only reason I can think of for having a keep alive circuit. I was sold at first on having a keep alive circuit even though it meant having a buss hot all the ...

There's actually no reason that I can see for the bulk head fitting to be exactly where it is. I should have been checking builder sites during this part of the construction but a problem in this area wasn't even on my radar. I'm considering making changes to the area around the bulkhead fitting som...
