I recently took these side by side pictures of Allison and Rolls engines. The model engine seems to be more similar to the Allison engine than the Rolls engine.



None the less it is a spectacular working model of the engine.

Nope that's a battery tray. I ended up with that one from the fuse kit and I got a Odyssey tray with the FWF kit. I used the Odyssey battery.

The icom A210 is a comm radio only the Garmin SL-30 is comm and Nav. Makes sense for it to be a bit more expensive. The SL-40 is likely the one you mean.

diesel is not particularly flammable without a fair bit of compression Hmmm I don't know about that. Last time I burned brush my diesel caught fairly well. It didn't bark at me like the gasoline I'd been using :o and hung around for a good hot long time. Didn't have a bit of trouble getting it lit.
