rear spar

While attempting to trial fit my wings yesterday, I found that the rear spar stub on the wing hits the spacer bar in the fuse. It looks like I need to trim some off the wing stub but I'm not about to do that without some more answers. It looks like I need maybe a half inch or so more to go before th...

Wow! Thanks a bunch Capt. John - that's what I was looking for. Splendid response time. Appreciate it. I know the field that topless -3 lives on and will try to get a pic of it for everybody. Heard that he's got a very non-stock O-360 in it. I'll wager that thing would rip your ears off with the thr...

The heat is literally on for the summer now, my least favorite building weather but hey, it's gonna be hot anyway, m...

I'm bilding a tip-up. After flying the factory 7, I just have to have that visibilty. It's like skydiving without all the wind. Ease of build? They're both a pain in the shorts to fit up. Both can get cracked during assembly. Leak? The tip-up is famous for leaking water down forward of the panel. Pr...

I don't think we met. I hadn't started this project until after you'd already gone. I thought I'd read somewhere something about you. Maybe the newsletter recently? Do you have a -6? And hey Spike- thanks for the welcome. This is one of the better places to hang out, I think. I gotta get outta this ...
