Sorry can't help much with importing into the UK, don't know all the rules, but here is what I ended up with importing into South AFrica. Shipping all 4 RV7 crates via sea to closest harbour in SA came to +/- $2000 there is no importing duties on Aircraft parts in South Africa, but you have to pay 1...

Depends, if you have determination, or are on budget then this standard build is fine. If you want to get flying fast and have a bit more money then QB. I'm doing a SB, but I recommend to all my buddies a QB, becuase they do not have the patience! PS the saving from QB to SB is not a full 100% savin...

Ditto, buy the head make the frame, just ensure you use the same or thicker material, not smaller, a good tool investment, if you have the steel around the head cost about the same as normal dimpler.

HI John, Looks like you used AN-4D fittings for the vapour return, just like the vent. The main fuel line is AN-6D from the tank. 1) Do you foresee any problems in going from bigger to smaller? 2) Looks like the Fuel selector has AN-4D and -6D fittings? 3) Otherwise how are you going to reduce from ...

Hi John, Thanks I got a kit like that from Vans... I need to be a bit clearer: A couple of guys have reported they get leaks around the tank filler cap (Dan also) and some of the connections. After applying 'fuel lube' it went away. I asked around here if anyone keeps "Fuel Lube" but they look at me...
