It's okay. I took the landing gear off landing at a strip I should have had nailed. Oh well. The plane was for sale anyway and the insurance company bought it.

You're starting your -4 the same way I did. I bought a completed tail and wings in progress. Went from there. I still think the -4 is the best flying of all the RVs. At least of the ones I've flown. Enjoy the journey.

If you are so inclined, maybe send some positive thoughts, well wishes, or prayers h...

Thanks John. Yeah, the terrain is beautiful and very unforgiving out here. I'm having fun with the new plane but I sure miss the RV-4 when it comes to longer trips. :-)

Been a little busy with work lately but I finally found time to sneak onto the Internet and sneak a little flying in as well. Today I flew to an air strip called JB Golf today. I used to fly my Champ in there years ago. Never could get my RV in there. A superior pilot probably could have. It's one o...

Here is another, Why I built the Coyote story... I wanted to take one more camping trip this year before it got too cold. After all that's why I built this plane. I had not had a chance to take my son camping in the plane so this seemed like the best time to go. I put out the word on another forum I...

Brian, Montana is a little far but I am going to try to go to the backcountry fly-in to Johnson Creek next year. Maybe you can fly over? I know that RV will get in to JC! I'm going camping at Gravelly Valley here in CA on Oct 1. John, Yeah, yeah. Kitfox is a fine machine and you'll like it... Until ...
