tubing over rivets question

I've been using small patches of scotchbrite with holes in them to force parts together prior to riveting, with limtied success. I've heard of using sections of tubing over the shop ends of the rivets, and think that it would work better. Can anyone tell me specifically what tubing they used, what d...

Thanks for the replies guys,

I was on my way to Home Depot to return this gadget; instead, I think I'll trim my dog's nails:)

Thanks for including the illustrations, Captain; they really helped.

I was planning on brushing alodine on the interior skins and rinsing the...

Bad day for O27

Dave was my flight instructor; he flew with me to brush up on pre-checkride stuff 2 hours before he crashed.  He was an exceedingly patient and kind man, and I'm fortunate to have learned what I could from him.  My heart goes out to his family and friends. Clear Air Tools

Hi Group, I just want to give Clear Air Tools a glowing endorsement with regard to customer service and tool quality. I had ordered tools from Clear Air, and realized that I'd been sent the wrong squeezer yoke. I contacted Fred at Clear Air, and he agreed to exchange the erroneous yoke. After realiz...

I'm also interested in using this product on my non-Alclad parts. Does anyone know where I can purchase this stuff? Thanks.
