Hi all

Been a while, so I figure y'all are due an update. Whether you want one or not! I'm back out in the garage and painting ribs and cutting parts. All it took to get my building juices flowing again was to visit a private grass strip and take a tour of the field. who knew? I've started tailwheel ...

What a great morning. Nothing like a 200$ short stack of blueberry pancakes to start a Sunday morning! :o  Like WS said, the ride up was glassy. The ride home was a bump fest. I tried 3500 and found it a bit better at 5500 although it was far from the smooth ride we had heading up to Orange...

Dave and I spoke today. Looks like Orange at 8:30 tomorrow morning.

I know it's late notice. But, you never know. . . some early bird might be looking for somewhere to go on a Sunday Morning.

Breakfast or lunch this weekend?

Anyone care to fly out to breakfast or lunch this weekend? Sat, Sun, Mon? If Monday, we'll need to make sure that the restaurant might be open. Right now I'm thinking KFIT or KBID, but I could be talked into somewhere else.

I can't believe I forgot to add in the updates. I'll give you the condensed version. I took the Monday after the first flight off and Paula and I headed out to Plymouth for a bite to eat. Again, all smiles. Then I (probably unwisely) tried to take her to Southbridge on the 20th. It was a blustery da...

will do.
It will probably be a pretty short hop. Where's the closest decent on-field breakfast spot to North Central?
I don't want to push her too far too soon.

Coincidentally, I had a good first flight today, too. Not the wife, but I took Claire, my girlfriend, up for her first flight in a small plane and she was all smiles the whole time. Excellent! Maybe it's just 'cause I'm a newbie pilot, but I get soooo pumped when someone really enjoys the ride. Gla...

I'm a lucky guy, no doubt. One of her biggest fears before this flight was that I might become incapacitated during the flight. To calm those fears I suggested a pinch hitter course to her so she could learn the basics. She's said she might like to do that and further stated that she would want Fran...

Biggest short flight!

I took a very important passenger up for a flight this afternoon. Ever since I started taking lessons my wife had given me a promise of one flight once I got my ticket. My wife is not a good commercial flyer to begin with (on occasion she has needed Valium to make it through the trip). The fact that...
