But no more than any other area of the -9 as this problem doesn't effect us

In addition - you are so lucky over there, this side of the 'pond' we no longer have a Plymouth (EGHD) Airport, which closed last year due (so they say) it could not support modern commercial operations (runway too short for jet commercials - turbo-prop -8s being the biggest flown there) - the flyin...

AE FUEL GUARDIAN
Hi Guys
I'm thinking of fitting the 'AE Fuel Guardian' - what have you who have fitted this device used as their safety margin, and can you please give me a verticle measurement, rather than me playing around with the recommended water and tube

My friends RV9a QB fuselage had the tray for the Concorde battery (left side firewall) included, when he had the finishing kit arrive it had the kit for the Odyssey battery (right side of firewall)

Fibreglass tips - spanwise rib W-931
Hi Guys
Anyone got any tips (or photo's) of fitting the span-wise rib (W-931) to the -9 wing tip - do you use a 'POP' type rivet or 'buck' a solid rivet

EGT & CHT gauges
CJ - I do believe we are getting there - the 'standard' VANs EGT & CHT gauges are to be used with Electronics International probes and wires, so I just make sure I know what make of probes I need for my particular make of gauges, I'm now presuming !!! most are compatable with EI probes etc Thank for...

EGT & CHT gauges
CJ, thank you, but what I guess I really want to know is how they work, can I connect any make of intrument (I like round dials) so if I go for other than the Vans dials, like UMA do they just get connected and away you go - also my fellow builder with his build is going all glass, again do the 'wir...

EGT & CHT gauges
Hi Guys
When you fit your EGT & CHT gauges, wether steam or 'glass panel' do they need calibrating, I'm a bit naive on how these devices actually work.

Wing conduit
Hi CJ
I'm sorry, you have got me at 'cross purposes', - what I want to know is how people have cut into the black conduit, part way along part way along it's length, so as to get wiring out, for (as I said) the AP servo

Hi CJ
Slow build wings, but now up to the QB state ie ready for the botton skins once internals and wiring completed - we put the holes in the ribs as per 'Vans's' option for the conduit

Wing conduit
Hi Guys
I'm using the 'standard' black convoluted conduit tubing for the wing wiring on out -9a: what's the best way to make a neat (non-abrading) hole part way down the length for routeing (for example) the wiring for the AP servo.
