This is common -- I think most folks put some silicone tubing or similar through the first snap bushing in that forward bulkhead to prevent the cable end from catching on the bushing. I'll have to check, but I am pretty sure mine hit the snap bushings too. You really don't notice this until you rig...

Specs

No-one has mentioned the actual specifications for what makes an acceptable rivet.... :) The Avery tool just defines a "perfect" 1.5D x 0.5D rivet head. Use the specifications here to check any suspect rivets. If they are within the measurements, leave them... they would be good for the Air Force, N...

The Nason doesn't have any zinc chromate in it does it. That is the biggy - that is what gives you the corosion protection :mrgreen: Veriprime is loaded with it. Not quite... if you check the MSDS - it has 10% Zinc Chromate in it... This is for the 491-17 part number mentioned above... "491-17 Buty...
