I was afraid of that. So you must have rotated the servo 180 degrees? I have the same sump as you as well, and the red cube fuel flow sensor for the Dynon. Do you happen to have any pictures?
Thanks

Thanks, Dave. :) :)
Do you have the SilverHawk EX? Did you have to change anything on the servo?(linkage, or rotate the servo etc)?
Thanks

Vans Firewall forward kit with Silver Hawk Fuel Injection

Does anyone know if the cables/ hoses in the Firewall Forward kit will fit the Precision Airmotive SilverHawk EX servo(horiz induction)? Otherwise I will have to have them made up i guess.
Thanks

Grove Gear Mounted and Drilled!!

Finally got up the nerve to mount the grove gear and align and drill it. After all the worrying over it, it was a non event. Hard drilling though. I used the parrallel angle method. Even took the 4 foot angle back to Lowes and got my 30bucks Back^:)

RV 8 Slow Build question

I am at the point in my build where I just flipped the fuselage over after completing the skins. After doing a few minor tasks, the Manual says to Now flip it BACK over and install the Gear and the bottom Fwd floor. It would seem easier if I did most of the inside tasks now(floors, seats,controls,etc....

WOW.
Looks expensive. Someday maybe I can afford one.
I just called Vans today, and changed my QB RV8 fuselage order to slow build to save the 5000 bucks. Things are tough.

Where do you get the 12" braided line with the 90 on the end, and how do you cut it and re use it?
Thanks

Ill look for some older posts.
So, I guess I just trace the contour of the fuselage onto the canopy, and keep doing it little at a time untilits close to the roll Bar?
Thanks
