I must say, after 29 years around airplanes that has to be the scariest thing I've ever heard.

I build model planes (really small parts) I'm 48. Go get some "readers" from your local drug store to use for your close-in work.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I will probably not be building a full size RV anytime soon but hopefully will be flying with Mr. Holland from time to time. Aircraft systems have always interested me so I'm sifting through the threads learning about these great planes!

I've been flying for 29 years but flew a Holland RV-6A for the first time the other day ! Now I see what all the "hipe" is about, what a great flying aircraft. I thought I would learn more about the RV's so here I am.
