Last ice landing of the year-Winter concert in Maine

Hey All, This might be the last chance to do an ice landing this season. Saturday, March 11, 2017 the Bald Mountain Camp in Rangeley, Maine is planning their Winter Concert. The music starts at 4PM. I plan on arriving about 3:30 and staying for a couple of hours. http://baldmountaincamps.com/events....

My vote is IPA...

The crowd seemed to suck those up first.

I hope that we get a big crowd! All are welcome and overflow can stay at the bed and breakfast.

Maybe we can do a missing dog formation for your pup too?

Re: RIP Co-Pilot Wyatt

Steve, That was only a test. I still have the remains. The weather in Rangeley this past Saturday didn't support the mission. We are planning now for Independence Day for a Plan "B". Maybe you would like to join us? Your plane might be done by then!?! If not, bring the Aeronca and spend the weekend ...

Check out this video clip...

Russki designed this tube to spread Wyatt's remains and Billy The Wizard made it!

I filmed this clip earlier today.

Re: RIP Co-Pilot Wyatt

Good call Russki! This is the official kibosh for now. Rain date to be determined... Air is too wet and cold, ice is to warm. It is a bad mix... I will post something up perhaps this summer. It would be a great celebration to spend the weekend at the bungalow toasting the awesome little dog! Maybe t...

OSHKosh Beer Tasting

Hey All,

In case you didn't make it to last years beer tasting. Mikey did a great job!

I brought some Heady Toppers from Vermont. They went fast!

What do you say we do it again?

Who is in?

Re: RIP Co-Pilot Wyatt

Thanks guys, looks like so far (providing good weather) we have the following participants: Agent Orange, Vlad, Mikey B., Billy and Derek, Yah Dude and Myself of course. So 6 planes should make a good missing man formation. Let us plan on meeting between 10 and 11 in Bethel, Maine for fuel and a bri...

Re: RIP Co-Pilot Wyatt

Doc, Yes... too soon. I want the freedom to boot around in the plane for a while longer without having a dog to feed and walk. I am spoiled though. Not any dog will do after him. He was REALLY smart! http://rivetbangers.com/forumsGallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=7856&g2_serialNum...

Vlad, some GREAT pictures that I have never seen! Why you keep these from me? ;) Mikey, I think Derek will fly Billy's plane as PIC but maybe Billy in the left seat??? Derek says that he will chime in soon... Alfio might make it down from Ottowa with Shirly as well! Major Pape says that he may drive...

RIP Co-Pilot Wyatt

It has been 9 months since I had to put my best friend and co-pilot to rest. Many of you had the pleasure of meeting Wyatt. He was an Australian Shepherd that I had the pleasure of knowing for 12 years. He came from a breeder in New Hampshire that has a grass strip called Propwash in Kensington, NH....
