Backrivet Table

Tonight, while I was supposed to be finishing painting the bedroom while my wife was gone to her Canine Good Citizen class with Wiley, I decided to put that off, and make the drop in for the backrivet plate to finish that table. Turned out pretty good, here's a couple of pics. http://www.rivetbanger...

Well the problem with the RV-12 is the fact that they don't have a time frame for it's availability. Last I knew, it was still a proof of concept, and that they will not even answer questions about its development because they are not sure about it yet. I'm sure they will have answers at Oshkosh bec...

Props for rotary power

What kind of propellers are being used with the rotary engines? I know that the electric constant speed props are required because of the lack of oil to the hub from the engine-if you want C/S. What about fixed pitch props? Are they, or can they be used with these engines?

Hand Squeezer

Why do we need 1", 2", and 3" hand squeezers?

Doesn't it make sense that a 3" yoke will do everything the others will do?

Rotary sounds

Does anyone have, or know where I can find the sounds of the rotary in an aircraft application? I have listened to the sounds in flight on one website, but no video. I really to want to hear one startup, like what Eggenfellner has on their homepage. If not, OSH is almost here, and I'm sure I can fin...

They should be right next door to Van's at OSH. Last year they were across the road from Van's. They're movin' in closer. I'll be lookin' at 'em too!

Mistral praise

I've done a lot of reading on these Mistral rotary's lately. I am very impressed! I think the price is a little steep, but by the time I'm ready for an engine...we'll see. I like the fact that it is, more or less, a clean sheet design with a Mazda heritage. This one, from what I can tell in the read...

Hey that's even better! I was referring to the bold font being easy to read. The format was a little confusing, but I could get used to it.

Now you've gone and made it better!! What a guy! :)

Nice job spike!

I am going to try and make it Wed., but I may not get there until the airspace opens that evening. Do you have a time in mind yet spike?

Oh, my company just bought a BRAND NEW Diamond Star and an Eclipse, so I am planning on bringing the Star now, rather than the $1.72! 8)
