That happened about 10 miles from my house. Lucky it was a 'fly-in' and there were lots of people to help. Thanks. It just looks as if contunual trimming won't get it to fit, but I will have a closer look next week. Just worried if I keep trimming after the windscreen is off they'll never meet properly when the canopy is closed!! LOL

And whatever you do......DON'T RUSH!!! I read the manual when fitting vertical stabilser to my airframe & it said to trim the vertical spar by XX". Came to fit it.......IT WAS TOO SHORT!!! I DIDN'T MEASURE IT TO DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE CUTTING!!!!! Damn that was a time costly mistake!!! LOL Live & learn...
