I have homemade Nav lights, police car strobes, led tail and strobe and just dumped my 35w HID's for two SunSpot 36LX's. The homemade Nav lights are copies of Jeff Bordelons design but with a good CC regulator/filter. The Strobes are Strobes N' More Pro System-4 kit. Work great and are cheap and so ...

In keeping with the various ways to set up the G3X the GTX 23 remote transponder has a lots of features. I have a 327 in my Cessna and it is great and quick to use if ATC is firing codes at me. If instead you had the GTX 23 with the G3X are you guys aware how you actually load codes and control it....

CJ, Keep in mind that you must pay extra for the weather subscription. It took 3 months to gut the old, rewire most of the plane, build the new and install. Included changing all the engine sensors. Naw, no ADS-B for me. Truth be told, I want a radio and the weather part comes for free with it. I pl...

Cool! Your gonna love the G3X... I would however get the GDL39 and don't waste money/time with the XM. Unless you want to listen to XM music, save the money and get the GDU370 instead of the GDU375. Even if you don't have ADS-B out, the FIS-B weather works great. The North East is covered with groun...

Going early this week and most likely will be out of there on Wed maybe Thur. What are the plans Rivetbangers? I will have a newbie RV6 owner with me that needs to get a taste of the Otter! Looks like the Dan Horton Social will be on Monday the 29th. Van's dinner is normally on Tues correct? What sa...

If you have a NAV or GPS source that provides vertical guidance, currently the Skyview's autopilot will not couple to it. That means if you plan to use the AP to fly IFR approaches, you will be forced to hand fly the vertical portion. Dynon is claiming that they will have vertical coupling for their...

For me it came down to what features were available now and how they were implemented as well as how well the user interface and buttonology was designed. The fact that Dynon still does not have vertical autopilot coupling was also a deal breaker. (I know they say they are releasing it shortly....un...

Mike, It is a major rush to do it for the first time as you now know. It is a blast to do it over and over again. You will find that it takes practice to get it super smooth, stay on heading and altitude. The more you practice, you will find you don't need so much pitch up in the beginning. I had a ...

Chad, you OK?
I saw this over on another forum... Hopefully this is not true unless he wants it to be. If it is true, it is a loss for the EAA: "[QUOTE=ccsmith51;753276]I just saw this on Facebook? Jon Ross Chad Jensen has been terminated from EAA as of Friday... Like · · Anyone know if this is accurate?[/QUOTE...

Hey Brantel while the carnivores discuss eating raw meat at the Otter can you tell us why you picked the G3X over AFS, GRT et al. Pat Oh it is not raw, only mostly raw...I have to honestly say however that is the best Prime Rib I have ever had! I am ready for mine again this year right now! Dynon i...
