Delete a Topic?

Post by N200PF »

Hey Spike!

I had posted a topic about an "RV-7" for sale on eBay...which was actually a recreational Van not an RV-7 like we all know and love. Now that the eBay link is gone, how can I delete this topic from Rivetbangers?

It's just not too funny now that the eBay link is dead...

THANKS! - Peter

The short answer is that you can't. Members don't have the ability to remove threads. The short answer is that I have turned on auto pruning for the classifieds section. Anything untouched in 60 days should automatically go away.

Duh, it just dawned on me that you didn't put that post in Classifieds section. I wouldn't worry about it, it will get lost eventually.

Deleting a post

Post by Terry B »

Not ffor sure why... but I placed a post under the hanger area and went under edit and it gave me the option to delete the post, I clicked yes and it was gone.

I may have been able to delete it since I was the author and even though it had 14 veiwers, no one had responded.

Terry B.

I am editing this post and it did not give me the option of deleting it, so it must be an option for teh author only.

:)
