Welcome to what will soon be known was www.rivetbangers.com. This website has the purpose of bringing RV builders together in a centralized location for the purposes of discussing the RV series of homebuilt aircraft. In the past there have been many sites and email lists that were aimed at RV builders. However, up until now there was not one central location were RV builders and flyers could come to discuss and assist each other with their aircraft.
Many people are familiar with the emails lists that have been used for communications amongst builders in the past. This site expands on that idea. However, we now have the ability to classify our discussions by not just aircraft type, but by avionics, engines, etc, all within a graphical system that does not mandate the use email / POP clients. Conversation threads are now kept together and can be viewed without the interleaving of email. You now also have the ability to monitor only the threads that interest you without having to weed through a plethora of email. Please feel free to look around, participate, and start conversations. The use of this site is totally free and is aimed at becomming a large interactive resource for RV builders world wide.
