Wow! I just looked that that!

They have a turn key option for RV-7's!

May as well look at that later when I have time.

I can see that installation getting you to Vne in a big hurry; not much of an advantage. And look what happens to the elegant lines of the stock RV cowl :puke: ! Oh well... to each his own!

GM / Eggenfeller conversion

They have a good article in the last issue of Custom Planes regarding this conversion. I always liked the idea of a Auto conversion but finally it looks like GM designed a motor that can run with the standard fare. Plus you get A/C which is a HUGE bonus here in Florida. The worst part of flying for me is the time below 2000'. Lots of neat stuff on this one. If only I could afford it? Don.

Just too much horsepower there. Maybe the 3800 cc engine would be better? Isn't there someone doing that already?
