radio stack slide mount

Post by Wicked Stick »

I borrowed this idea from another poster on VAF. http://wiki.matronics.com/wiki/index.php/Avionics
It uses some channel stock that allows you to adjust each radio into position up and down for a perfectly adjusted fit.

This was my only option since my panel layout did not allow enough room for 3/4" angle to be used and still keep the spacing where I wanted it.
Many thanks to Machine Man for making up a batch of the nuts that slide into the channel.

Here's where I purchased the red anodized channel: http://www.eagleamerica.com/product.asp ... 1203637173
