Removing the face of the the A210

Post by cjensen »

I'm working on getting the A210 installed in my panel, and I can't get the face of it off to get to the removal screw. There are two screws on either side of the radio that require a 3/32 allen head. I can't tell if the screws are moving or not...I can't feel anything in there that feels like a screw head. The face is tight as can be...

Anybody got any suggestions? Seems like it should be easier than this...

Hey Chad-

I played around with my 210 last night and couldn't figure out how to get the faceplate off either :? :? :? . If you figure it out, please let me know! I am about a week away from needing to know how to do it!

Got it! The ball ended allen driver...

...won't work because the screw head looks like this...

So, use a standard allen wrench and the face comes off with ease (the ribbon slips out of the slot easily as well)-
