EFIS Displays

Post by BillyBob »

Does anyone have any information on the manufacturer/brand of displays used in the "sun light readable" EFIS panels? I am interested in something in the 5-8" range with a brightness of greater than 1000 nits.

BB,
I have the GRT EFIS in my 8. It is readable in direct sunlight and has a lot of really nice features. Check them out at "GRTavionics.com"

Thanks Dan, but was asking about the manuf. of the displays, such as Sharp Electronics, etc. I want to "experiment" with a few ideas of my own.

Hey BB, the Dynon site has a bulliten board system.

Mebbe they will answer your question over there? Worth a try I suppose?

Check in from time to time here! I am interested in what you find out!
