He is known as rv9pilot on the VAF forums. When I saw this setup, I thought he read my mind! It is the setup I have always been planning on. It is good to see it all fits in the space provided with room to spare!
I may swap out brands on the EFIS displays (and probably will) but in a nutshell, it is the best I have seen yet!
Do you agree?

I saw that today too and really liked it.
The glass panels are well laid out - and the Trutrack Pilot 2 appears to be a great back-up instrument.
Having the bank of switches on top results in giving more room for the instruments below.
The only thing I thought could be improved was the Magnetic Compass is too far away and the parallax may be a small problem.
I also plan to do something very similar... but that's a lonnng way away...

True about the parallex effect of the whiskey compass. I thought about that too and would put a DG to the left of the airspeed indicator. In a partial panel situation, it would be better there to aid in confirming wings level.

I like the way you think!!!
I guess another thing to think about is the electrical architecture and make sure the backup instruments (e.g. auto pilot, etc.) are not on the same circuit breaker as EFIS or the GPS.
