Garmin 320A & 327

Post by captain_john »

Hey guys,

I just got a new in box (but secondhand) Garming 327. I want to test it out in the RV-6 that has a 320A.

As far as I can see, I can slide the 320 out and slide the 327 in and it should work fine for test purposes, right?

Anything I am overlooking here?

Anything gonna smoke that I am not aware of?

CJ,

dig out the installation manuals for the two and compare the pinouts. If everything lines up, I'd fire it up!

CJ, I have the same 327 Transponder so let me know if you want to test it in my RV-8's tray.

Dave,

Sounds great. It is at H5 right now. I will leave it there so the next time you drop by we can do the swapperoo.

Thanks!
