GPS - field of view

GPS field of view. I have come to enjoy having these GPS units synchronized and in the same field of view set to different ranges. the eye movement is small to see both of them because they are in line. update one of them and the other updates. it's a small thing but I have come to appreciate the in line viewing feature.

another thing I like is having the engine control knobs close together so that my palm covers them all for takeoff. during the build I wondered if they were too tightly spaced but with no issues in 10 years, I like the spacing. my palm will also cover the carb heat knob under the throttle. everything is assured to be forward for takeoff.

cockpit ergonomics are important and can affect safety of flight.

muggy day today. Most clear days around here the traffic is very busy. I like crappie weather days because there is less traffic but I really need to be on alert for traffic. there he is. easy to see when the GPS units are in-line and set to different ranges. I turned in to be behind him.
