Finally have the RV-4 in the paint shop

Post by svanarts »

Yes! I finally made it over the hump to Yerington. Tore the plane apart and came home. What a day. Read all about it on my website.

I agree Spike! Flying out west is just beautiful!

That black Lambo was a bit dusty...if they aren't using it, tell 'em to send it to me, I'll clean it up and use it!

Great shots Scott, glad the trip went without major issues. You even got to ride home in a RV.

Are your graphics ready to be put on when the paint is cured enough ?

No, I'm still trying to find some good vinyl strips to put down the sides. I'd also like to spruce up the wings a bit. I've looked on a couple of marine graphics sites that have some promising designs but I haven't fallen in love with any particular design.

Anybody know of any good places that have either ready to stick on graphics or can make them custom? Not interested in wild flame jobs or anything like that. Just some nice looking accent stripes.

BTW, glad y'all liked those western landscapes. I just can't help but think how pointy they are. If I lost my engine for any stupid reason... ugh. I hate to think about it.
