Passenger #2, my Dad

Post by cjensen »

This flight was another special one for me, one that I won't forget. My dad was pretty instrumental in getting the 7 completed, and he thoroughly enjoyed this flight me this afternoon...

Chad,

Great second person to take flying with you! Like you, my father was a large part of the success of my project. So who's next? I've only had my father as a passenger. My brother was "too busy" to go flying with me. For someone who's unemployed, it seemed like it was a scaredie-cat excuse!

Hopefully my mom...she was busy this afternoon getting ready for Easter. Dad got a free pass from the house for a bit.

My sister will be in town tomorrow, so she has a shot. Otherwise, it's open season!

Very cool, especially seeing your dad in a lot of those construction pics.

I wish I could get my Dad to go as #2. Guess I need to zip to Calif soon. I have a bunch of guys that want a ride around here, I should sell tickets.

I'm sure you aren't the only one that won't forget that flight, another great RV experience.

What a wonderful experience, Chad! Thanks for sharing it with us. I can't wait to take my Dad up for a ride one of these days. He's been so helpful and interested in my project, too.

Chad, I am glad my wife doesn't read Rivet Bangers your Dad might make realize what she is missing! The pilot in that picture looks kind of crappy but I suppose that was the only way your Dad could get a ride in your airplane. :bang:
