Lem, Rest in peace

Post by captain_john »

It is a sad day for us here at EAA UL 62 in Plymouth, MA.

One of our members, Lem Crittenden and his Challenger were found not far from the runway in Hanson, MA.

A fellow pilot spotted the crash site. No one saw him go in. It seems that all the control surfaces are intact. The investigation is continuing.

It has been a tough week for avaition with OSH, Dayton, the choppers in AZ and now this.

This one hits home, though.

Lem was one of the good guys.

That sucks John. One of the family is one of the family regardless of familiarity. Keep us posted and keep the faith.

Aww man. I hate to hear stuff like this. Especially when it's close to home. You and UL62 are in my thoughts.

Prayers for Lem's family.
"It's kind of like a hang glider with a lawnmower motor on it," said Lieutenant Joseph P. Yakavonis of the Hanson Police Department.
