Who will make the first "OFFICIAL" First Flight

Post by svanarts »

I've seen lots of stories in here about folks' first ride in an RV. I'm wondering who will be the first Rivetbanger to complete their plane and make that first flight?

Yeah, it seems the guy that just had his first engine start is a little ahead of us that don't have engines on our plane yet. My bet is Pat will win.

The more interesting question is who will be the first to fly out of the bunch of us who are finishing up the fuselage - CJ, Chad, Brantel, Brad and myself (sorry if I forgot anyone else). Anyone care to make a friendly wager???

Mike, I will bet you a case of your favorite brewed beverage that it won't be me. Are we on?

Sounds like a plan....you just want to ship me out a case as pre-payment when you return my seatbelt?????

Nah, I'll just bring it with me to OSH '08. You can come pick it up at my campsite, that is if you get there before it's gone... BURP!

Unless I win the lottery (don't play so there is a very slim chance that I might find the winning ticket in the trash), it won't be me.....

 Me too! I do play the lottery once a week, and I still think it'll be a fat chance that it'll be me!

Mike, you have my vote for those of us in the fuse stage!

Our newest RBer, Rob, will beat us all though! 8)

I'd say Paul Trotter might be flying by the spring...
I don't think I'll be ready until the Fall of 2008.
