Not too far away (14nm), but my first visit to another airport occurred last evening when I stopped at my buddy Jack Holland's (RV-7) farm. Brian mentioned on Facebook that "there is just something about a taildragger sitting on the grass"...indeed.
First visit away from home

And I'll say it again...."just something about a taildragger sitting on mowed grass"cjensen wrote:Not too far away (14nm), but my first visit to another airport occurred last evening when I stopped at my buddy Jack Holland's (RV-7) farm. Chad, That is cool!
Please tell Jack that I said hello. Perhaps we can make it out there to the Holland International Airport pig roast now that we have some flying RV's out here on the right coast?!?
See you soon, I am sure!

If only we were still doing the pig roast...it's been a good 4 or 5 years since we've done one. Jack is running Ag planes off his strip all summer, and is just too busy to organize it right now. Someday we'll do it again!captain_john wrote:Chad, That is cool!
