Awesome Flight #2

Post by Brantel »

Did some more Fall flying yesterday. Trying out different GoPro mount positions. I need to work some more on the vibration proofing of this mount. Sorry for the shaky video. No audio on this one since I did not want Youtube to flag it.

Flew over Max Patch TN/NC, Good view of the Smokies. A little hazy and I missed the peak of the colors a bit.

Are you using the suction cup mount or one of the adhesive jobs?

This one was the one that comes in the box that the camera is mounted on in the box. It has a large flat square plate at the bottom.

I just drilled two holes in it and screwed it to the area where the outboard inspection cover is.

I have a Drift HD170 that I made a mount for that uses a couple wingtip screws to secure. No vibration. I suspect your mount mod will do the same.

Nice crisp picture despite the goofiness from the vibration. I'm looking seriously at the GoPro Hero3. Awesome camera. Must.....resist........
