Went to Nova Scotia to see Paullie
Now, I am not going to repost the whole thread from VAF but there are more pictures on my gallery here.
What a GREAT trip across the International border to see Paule and Adele Tuttle, his airport and all his friends at Stranley Airport in NS!
If you haven't read it, see it over there at this link:

Chad, It WAS!!! What a fun time!
Bob, I hope you get that medical back soon so you can really stretch your wings like this!
This will be a regular trip for me when my seven is done. It really was lots of fun in so many different ways!
Say, how many people caught the (for lack of a better description) "knee-jerk thread called airmanship, pointed towards our antics?
Here is a link in case you missed it.

Really, I was there the whole time and saw only fun! I think some people read too deeply into things sometimes.

Threads like this are what is causing me to spend less time on VAF. Most of the flying RV-10 builders were driven off the site with a similiar debacle many years ago. I wasn't building at the time, but heard stories from others.captain_john wrote:Say, how many people caught the (for lack of a better description) "knee-jerk thread called airmanship, pointed towards our antics?

Perhaps there ought to be a thread about those that post to VAF after having s few cold ones and the dangers of posting while intoxicated?
It's surely getting old where some self proclaimed Internet guru reads between the lines and assumes the worst about people. Or those that pass along opinions as self proclaimed facts.
Oh well, so much for my lunch time rant......

The only problem I had with this whole thing was that I was sitting here in MN without a medical and sold my RV-6A. Everything I read sounded very adult and very responsible. It was interesting to note that one of the pilots was featured drinking Co cola out of a can because he was planning an evening flight. The fact that some of the others enjoyed an adult beverage and didn't plan to fly is perfectly legal and responsible! I only read the other web site when referenced on RB. It was good exchange of fellowship and aviation information between home builders!
