I made it to Casa Grande, Arizona on Saturday for the Copperstate Fly-In. Another pilot joined me. He is looking at building an RV-14, and was also considering the RV-9A. Since the RV-14 was scheduled to be there, he jumped at the chance to come along. We took off at 8am and were tied down by 10am. Weather was nice and hot. We checked out the exhibits and all of the planes and vendors. A quick lunch, then we got back in the plane after waiting for the fuel truck to finally make its rounds to our tiedown spot. No problems getting in and out of the airport, although there was lots of traffic coming and going.

We made about 150+ knots on the way out and back. I can't wait to hit some more states and get some more long flights under my belt.

Photos are here.

That's awesome Bruce! Wish I could have been there as a vendor, but didn't work out this year.

Thanks for posting pics! 8)
