Inyokern RV Fly-In

I managed to make my way out of the mostly cloudy San Diego area and then up to the Mojave Desert to participate in Axel Alvarez's 40th Birthday party and ice cream social. Even got permission to cross the Edwards AFB restricted airspace!

Nice! I see that you got a picture of "Top Gun" Dan's plane!

Hoping to make Oshkosh with a painted airplane, but that might be a stretch. I will be in Boston next week, but I don't know if my work schedule will allow a visit.
