5.4 Hours High Performance!

Post by captain_john »

Well, this kinda pales in comparison to Danny's first flight and all... but I had such a great time cruising around this weekend in the Cherokee Six I had to say something!

I went up country to NH, down to the islands around the Cape and got night current. Tonight Wicked Stick and his family joined my wife and I for some fireworks watching. It was a great end to a fun weekend of airplane mooching!

Thanks to my buddy George for lending me the ship! Whatta great guy!

Now I feel current and confident to make the trip to OSH in the "Six". Not that I didn't before, I just feel better about it!

See you all there!

Oh, yah... that IS a thirsty bird!

That comes to about 90 gallons!

Fuel would come to just over $300.00.

Thanks God for decaying dinosaurs!
