You can get those from Avery. I know about that trick John and I have made extensive use of it. However, I was referring to the bazillions of #40 skin to skeleton holes. You got any tips for that other than lots of time and patience?

Yup, I got one. Ya see, I was whining about having to spin that thing once per hole X a bazillion holes. Feel free to call me a whiiiiiiner if you want

I prefer to think of it this way: "If it was easy everybody would do it." Instead the common folk immerse themselves in in their televisions and such. Or another one I like: "You eat a whale one bite at a time." Keep going and we will all meet at Oshkosh some year. Later.
hmmm......I wonder if we can get them in Australia. I might have to take a trip down to Carbatech (Aussie slang for Avery ).
If they don't, I think I will be getting you guys to send me one.

I would rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
Regarding using a powered screwdriver to deburr, it is easy to overdo. You just want to remove the burr that extends above the surface of the skin. You don't want to make a crater. As Van says, just make it so you don't cut yourself when you run your finger across it.
Now, after spinning that deburring tool you will often find you have a little burr left, but this one doesn't go all the way around the hole, it is just where the cutter stopped. Learn how to remove just that little piece without spinning your cutter several more revolutions. (I just got it figured out when I went on to another phase and have since forgotten. Damn!)
I have had better luck with the single flute bit that Avery sells rather than the triple flute bit. Just one turn is all it takes, but it works better if I tip the handle outward so it makes a flatter angle with the skin.

A good point - don't want to overdo it, especially on the control surfaces. It's really easy to go too far on those .016" skins. I didn't have problems, but came close.
