wire route for strobe to rudder

I am looking to run my strobe cable to the rudder. Is it acceptable to go through the spar of the vertical stab?? I don't see any other spot to make the hole otherwise.

Not the best pic, but I placed mine just to the side of the VS. You can see the white spiral wrap in this pic

Thanks you guys. I didn't think there was enough look to put the hole there but looks pretty reasonable. Since I asked the question I have seen several builder sites where the hole has gone through the horiz stab spar. I would prefer to do it the way you guys did and leave the spare alone. Thanks for the info. Gary
