Yipes there is a ton of work in the firewall! I looked at the plans and thought I'd have it done in a day. Uh, NOT. Go ahead laugh at me. Looks like people on the web are quoting around 14 hours to get it done, Ill be in the ballpark but a bit over. I guess I'm a bit slow.
Anyway, after a long day of work I thought I' d spout a bit and let everyone know that yes, I am still building a plane in the basement. I was hoping to have the firewall done before we left for the show, guess Ill have to finish it when I get back!

Punk. You make fun of me now, but when mine is finished you'll be to embarrassed to park yours next to it But then my plane would probably offer yours some fruity fuel or some such.

Just remember; you cant rush quality.Spike wrote: Ill be in the ballpark but a bit over. I guess I'm a bit slow.
14 hours? I spent 9.5 on mine...I guess build times can vary greatly, and you never really know how accurate the times are that people report either. I'm at 670 hours right now, tail is done, closed the right wing last night, will close the left tonight, all the fuse bulkheads are built. I don't have any idea where that falls on the "average" build times...
