When I take N14SE down for her condition inspection this winter I will be adding it to the nose gear.

I have certainly been following that thread, and the idea sure seems to have
a lot going for it. If I had to decide right now, I would likely be putting one on my 7A.

Time will tell if there is ever an official comment from Van's. They have commented on other 3rd party 'improvements' to various RV things in the
past, so hopefully the past rather 'sensitive' matter of the RV nose gear
won't prevent such a comment one way or the other.

About 4 years ago there was a Service Bulletin from Vans to all RV-A builders and required us to purchase a new nose wheel fork and send in our nose wheel gear leg for modification. I and another RV-6A builder in St. Cloud made those modifications to our RV-6A's. Neither of us have received furhter Service Bulletin's from Vans.

I'd like to see it in a more technical presentation with a talk of force vectors and actual numbers. Looks like a good idea though. I like how they are looking to change the mode of failure instead of re-design the whole silly thing.
