How the heck do you guys take off those stickers that Van's uses to label everything??
I tried to get them off the hinges for the elevator today (the powder coated stuff) - used Goo Gone, Windex, and there is still a sticky residue!!
Any tips?

That mainstay of the handyman's arsenal, WD-40, will remove just about any adhesive residue. If it's a part that'll be primered, be sure to get the WD cleaned off completely!

WD-40 is a much better cleaner than a lubricant. I use it to clean my guns before oiling them! It also is good for cleaning Paslode nail guns!

Naptha (Coleman lantern fluid) works pretty well. It's what I used. I've never cleaned my guns with it though.
