I am trying to look at some tools over the internet and I see some good prices on 4x rivet guns. Is it an overkill for rv building?
Thanks

Yep overkill. I have my 3X turned WAY down to set 3 and 4 rivets. Full blow on a 3X is REALLY a kicker! Those 4X guns are good for setting rivets in spars and such, which we don't have to do anymore, unless you're building an old 3, 4, or 6.

Here Here to Chad and Spike...
3X is more than enough for all the rivets you'll set on a QB or Standard kit. 4X would be too hard to turn down for the little 3 rivets.

Thanks,
I am in the dreaming stage (9A or 7A), yet to get my ppl but if I see some good deals on ebay I will go for them.
I am also looking for an old good compressor at auction sites, garage sales, etc.
