What do you really like?

Ok all, Here is a good question for ya!
What is the one tool that you would not be without? Or, what has been the most useful and is really worth the $$$$?

I know Chad will say the pnue squeazer.

I am just about to order the DRDT-2 so leave that out.

Dremel tool, hands down!

It is the coolest little, do everything tool that ever existed!

If you don't already have one, put it on the list!

Me too.

The thing I probably use the most though is the bench grinder with the 3M wheels. Seems like every part sees it at one point or another. Cut and polish on one side and light deburring on the other.

yep, have those. All at work. With a Metal Break and cutter as well. I think I am lucky to have alot of stuff at work.
They have a 4X banger as well but, to much power and I like the sioux drill and gun.

Did you guys know that it is still cheaper for me to order things from the U.S. and get it shipped than buy it here in Australia. How stupid is that.

That is strange, considering Australia is a LOT closer to China than we are.

I was just thinking about this last night as I used my pneumatic squeezer to install the 426-3s for the blind nuts on my spar -- the pneumatic squeezer is absolutely the most valuable tool in my plane building collection.

My other fav in the shop is my little $3 pen magnet! I love that thing! It's always helping me out, because as well all know, everything you drop will find it's way to the nearest hiding spot under the table!!!

Here's one you guys didn't think of yet...

I think my favorite tool is the great group of friends both online and in person that I know of who are building RV's. "We" are the greatest, most useful tool to all of us. Whether its giving advice, helping buck rivets, or simply providing support through sharing out experiences.

My favorite tool is the CNC mill at work. It lets me take two hours to do a job that would take a half hour with a drill press.

Seriously, I love my pneumatic squeezer, but if I had to choose between it and the DRDT, I think I'd take the dimpler.

And, I gotta agree with WS. I wouldn't know how to use the tools I have if it weren't for RB, so they'd all be pretty useless.

I'm doing alright on the tools front. There is even a hand squeazer and bucking bars everywhere. Even an angle cutter. All the scotchbrite wheels I like and we might even be extending the hanger. I like to think that they are doing it all for me.

Plane? What are you talking about? That's a bracket for the Dagwood Bumstead tooling project we're doing. It may bear some coincidental resemblance to a VS rear spar doubler, but don't be silly.

Here is just the latest oder of tools that I have received. The list is getting bigger all the time. I will be ordering the DRDT-2 and Sioux Rivet gun.

I just found out that I have to go away with work for a month up to Darwin. I will be ordering the Emp whilst I am there. So.....IT WILL BE HERE WHEN I GET BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ps. have you notice that I ordered 2 back riveters? in the middle and bottom left. Just to excited to think straight.

That's terrific, Snap. Congratulations! And hey, sorry to play one-upmanship, but I was so excited and confused that I ordered THREE back riveters!

Snap, you are off to a great start!!!

My favorite back riveter, I made myself! I simply took a universal cupped set and ground it flush. I like it alot because I feel like I get better control over the rivet head, getting a better "feel" for the squeeze.
