Tool deals at OSH?

Post by cnpeters »

As a future RV builder, I'm preparing to tool up, likely with a kit from Avery or Isham/Planetools. Upgrades will include a pneumatic squeezer and the DRDT-2. Would it worth waiting to see if there are good deals on new or used tools at OSH (if it matters, I will be attending midweek and will miss the first three days)? I've never been through the vendor or swap areas, so have no idea.
Thanks,
Carl Peters

Carl, I got all my stuff ALA Carte' and was able to pick and choose that way. I prefer it, unless you get a kit with everything you like in it at a good price. Often the kits have a bunch of stuff, some of it you won't like and others you won't ever use.

With Avery, you can tell them to omit or add any particular item/tool from their tool kit list. I did that when I ordered from them back in 2003.
